Pearl Resorts of Tahiti

An invitation to feel Polynesia differently

Pearl Resorts of Tahiti has been shaping the art of Polynesian hospitality for decades. A rendez-vous with Polynesia, each of our five destinations tells a different story, rooted in the island that surrounds it, the culture that gives it meaning and the people who call it home.

Vahine Private Island

An exclusive address in Taha’a

The latest addition to the Pearl Resorts collection, Vahine Private Island has been thoughtfully renewed while preserving the authenticity of its setting. A private motu in the Taha'a lagoon, with just a few units nestled within nature and sweeping views of Bora Bora and the Society islands. Days unfold quietly here, in a world that feels entirely your own.

Discover

Born at the heart of French Polynesia, Pearl Resorts brings together exceptional addresses where Polynesian art de vivre reveals itself in all its authenticity, in harmony with the cultures, the people, and the ecosystems that are the soul of our islands.

This harmony cannot be decreed. It is nurtured, day after day, in every choice we make.

A commitment to our islands

Preserving nature, culture & communities

Protecting the beauty
of Polynesia

Aware that no hospitality activity is without consequence for its environment, Pearl Resorts is committed to minimizing that impact as much as possible, to sustainably preserve our fenua, its communities, and the richness of its ecosystems.

Preservation of ecosystems

We believe our presence carries a cost, and we hold ourselves to the discipline of reducing it. The lagoons, coral reefs and motu around our properties are living systems under real pressure from climate change and human activity. We favor indigenous species, manage water with discipline, and protect sensitive zones from our own operations. Ecosystem preservation is not an initiative. It is a standard we hold ourselves to.

Since it began, Pearl Resorts has drawn its identity from the cultures and traditions of French Polynesia. Languages, craftsmanship, stories, music, dance, island history: these aren't a backdrop, they're heritage, worth preserving and passing on. Each property reflects the character of its own island, welcoming artisans and artists into its architecture, its activities, its everyday rhythm. Done well, tourism doesn't take from culture. It carries it forward.

We believe the value we create should remain in the territories that make it possible. Our teams are drawn from the fenua, and our sourcing favors local producers, artisans and short supply chains wherever this is viable. We invest in training and internal advancement. This is our commitment: that employment, skill and opportunity circulate back into the communities that host us.

Standards are only meaningful when they are kept, season after season. We measure our energy and water consumption, our waste management, and the origin of our purchases, and we adjust accordingly. This same discipline extends to the guest experience itself, which we design to bring guests into genuine contact with the fenua, its culture and its people, rather than keeping at a distance.
