Diving site : The Crossing |
Ocean / max depth 18-75 ft
Diving: Ocean side in Manihi, a breathtaking wall falls from 3m (10ft.) to 1500m (5000ft.) deep. Abundantly rich with Napoleon wrasse, giant jackfish, impressive schools of snappers and barracudas, ocean fish such as tuna or Bonita. Once a year during the month of July, thousands of marbled grouper unite for the mating season; one of the most spectacular underwater events in Polynesia.

Ocean / max depth 18-75
Diving: Ocean side in Manihi, a breathtaking wall falls from 3m (10ft.) to 1500m (5000ft.) deep. Diving site : The Tairapa Pass |
Pass / max depth 60 ft
Diving: This living liquid highway connecting the ocean to the lagoon offers different itineraries which are the fabulous "drift dives" through the in-coming current accompanied by the boat which follows above.
Tuna, barracudas, sharks (grey, blacktip, whitetip, nurse), jack fish, sea bass, parrots, napoléon wrasse.

Diving site : The Crack |
Ocean / max depth 18-75 ft
Diving: A large break in the reef on the ocean side where, in an amphitheatre of coral, you can quite safely be the spectator of an exciting shark feeding, which attracts a multitude of reef sharks including blacktip, whitetip, grey, and occasionally the larger deep water whitetip.
Groupers, jack fish, napoléon, wrasse, sea Bass.

Diving site : West Point |
Ocean / max depth 18-150 ft
Diving: Depth range from 3m (10ft) to 45m (150ft). Ocean side, the incredibly clear water of this virginal atoll is the ideal habitat for coral of unusual forms. This site offers an amazing underwater seascape; rose-petal coral covers the slope at 30 to 45m (100-150ft). Visibility: 50m (150ft). This drift dive runs according to the currents.

Diving site : The Circus |
Lagoon / max depth 18-25 ft
Diving: Situated just between the pass and the lagoon, populated by large Napoleon wrasse and black-tip sharks, it is the favorite meeting place of eagle rays and manta rays. Solitary or in groups the mantas especially appreciate coming here to feed all year long in about 30 feet of water.

Manihi Blue Nui is located right on the marina of the hotel.
Sign Up at the bar of the hotel everyday 18h30-19h
- One large open room makes conversation easy with the friendly dive staff.
- With a large stock of magazines, fish books and maps, it is easy to have all the information you need regarding the flora and fauna of our underwater world.
- Ventilated lockers are available to stock personal equipment, as well as closets to hang wetsuits.
- Large fresh -water tank for rinsing all equipment after each dive and one shower.
- Dive tanks are set up and loaded on the boat by dive staff.
- Lifting and carrying is limited.

Diving in Manihi
Manihi is a string of islets very famous for its black pearl farms.
It has earned an honored place in the international diving world.
Close sites of impressive seascapes with a large density and variety of species are the particulars that make this destination so special.
Moderate currents in the pass, the clarity of the water and dive sites protected from wings and waves make Manihi the ideal dive destination for experienced as well as beginner's divers.
